Pros

Offers an extremely unique position within Human Resources. As a formal HR Manager for a variety of manufacturing companies, working for a PEO has brought on a whole new experience. I personally call it "HR with a customer service flair." To be more specific: not only do I have the opportunity to help a wide variety of employees from a variety of diverse organizations operating within different states. For example, any day may consist of assist employees within the healthcare industry operating in California to representing owners at an unemployment hearing within the realty estate industry operating in Pennsylvania. Or I may draft an employee handbook for one company within the food industry operating in Colorado while while coordinating employee benefit administration within the mortgage industry operating in Utah. Not only is it a pleasure to assist this wide variety of employees; I get truly feel like a business representative for not one...but several (and I mean a lot) business organizations.

Cons

Must be on top of your "A-game." Although not a con; this position requires a lot of research, verification and validation of employment law as you will be exercising your HR expertise across the majority of the US. Feeling as a business representative for our clients (business owners), you have to be 110% accurate in your advisement. This is where the true reward is; learning the unique labor laws per state as you will flex your HR expertise across multiple (if not all) states.

Pros

Friendly, fun environment. Management tries to keep everyone engaged. You can be involved in more than one area if you have the time or experience.

Cons

Small company so if a project comes in your workload can be heavy since there are not many to spread extra work across.

Pros

I have worked here for almost 5 years now, out of all of the companies and fields that I have worked in I will not be leaving here anytime soon. I have had attempts from competitors to try to get me to change to their company, and I have no intention of leaving because of how I am treated at this one. Great Benefits, PTO, trainings provided as laws/policies change and as you need or request them at any time, great staff, clients are amazing to work with, no limits on self-improvement. Management is flexible with your schedule if you have children and they have doctor/any appointments, if you have personal things going on they work with you.

Cons

Management has high expectations regarding the performance from their employees, however the clients have high expectations from the company so this territory comes hand in hand. This company is very customer service oriented, the high expectations is what makes this company so competitive. This is a con if you are lazy and not wanting to work hard, but if you are a hard worker, this is what makes this company so great to work for.
