Pros: - Allow time for you to learn the industry through training, conferences and industry reading. - Opportunities to become an industry thought leader through writing articles for the company blog and/or host webinars. - Typical agency setting with a laid back environment, drinks, team activities and company gatherings. - Flexible and generous PTO.

- The executive team lacks leadership skills and the owners are aware of this but have yet to do anything about it and provide additional training. - Processes are broken even though they will spend endless time on trying to map them. More time is spent on mapping without actually implementing any of the changes. - High turnover with employees and clients. - Company culture was a huge focus to the point that it felt forced in order to win local awards and recognition. - They easily promote employees based more on the fear of knowing someone may be unhappy rather than recognizing the skills and contributions they bring to the company. Just as quick as they will promote, they will demote and bring someone new in for a position they may have promised/discussed with you during the initial 'promotion'.
