Pros

Having been part of the Vertical team for just over a year, I can honestly say I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Vertical Recruitment is a great company to work for, the Directors and staff are very supportive and extremely encouraging. Great career opportunities, with a good office vibe and workplace culture.

Cons

Nothing negative to say here.

Pros

Easy to get to office, can take extended lunch once a week to go gym. Can be service led at times, but too many consultants mass mail out then spend day Internet shopping. Some staff are sound but a big personality in there who poisoning the atmosphere,

Cons

Changed dramatically over 2 year period, high staff turnover. You will stand at the front of office to explain if you are late. There's a alot of swearing and derogatory comment's whilst siting doing nothing. Most consultants don't bill and those that do, more are put on them to keep business afloat. Made loads of redundancies. If you go out drinking and want to sit and do nothing all day this is a company for you. Shame as used to be much better before certain staff were promoted. No diversity or inclusion in the office.

Pros

> Relaxed, professional team with no micro-management >management are very approachable and hands on >Management trust you to get on with your work without checking in all the time. >Elaborate training programme in place for new starters and to refresh training techniques >Down to Earth, supportive team >Great client base, on PSl's for most of the large engineering consultancies and construction companies >office location is ideal, in the city centre of Manchester. >Fun office incentives, with monthly social outings

Cons

> Only thing is there is no music on in the background whilst working. For my taste would prefer to have the radio in the background on a low level
