Pros

Genuinely the best part of working here. The team culture is real — not performative ping-pong-table nonsense, but actual investment in people. Benefits are solid, wellness perks are thoughtful, and the colleagues you work alongside are talented and fun. When the company is hitting its numbers, the energy is infectious. It feels like a place worth building something at. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Cons

Leadership will hand you a roadmap, look you in the eye, and tell you this is the direction. You will execute. You will deliver. Six months later, you will be laid off for doing exactly what they asked. No, that's not hyperbole — it happened. The core problem is that there are two competing strategic visions at the top, and nobody has the spine to reconcile them. Instead of resolution, you get contradiction: two tones, two directions, two sets of priorities — all radiating downward simultaneously. Navigating the resulting politics and ego collisions becomes a core job function nobody hired you for. When targets are missed — and they will be missed — the culture flips overnight. The warmth evaporates, the finger-pointing begins, and the layoffs come in waves. Accountability lands on the people executing, not the people setting broken strategy. Leadership's answer to strategic failure is a headcount reduction, not introspection.
