Pros
Michelle Tallada. THE BEST MANAGER EVER! The clients... serving Veterans was an honor. Lunch hour! The staff would go out to lunch several times per week and on special occasions. Middle Management was excellent.
Cons
Upper management was very - Good Ol' Boys Club. Staff Issues (such as other staff getting in my face, screaming at me for something that did not happen and I got my hand smacked because I had cc'd managers on an email chain) went either unmentioned or under investigated. There is a LOT of favoritism shown and if you're not in the "In-Crowd" you are completed left behind. It IS a non-profit organization, so not much money OR room for growth, as once a person is in a position they like, they stay - which isn't a bad thing, but it is if you are in a bottom position.
