Veterans Beware - Security Officer Veterans Security Operations Employee Review

VETERANS BEWARE, THIS COMPANY IS A HONEY POT. No training, barely any support, constant promises of higher pay like $1-$5 an hour more and then we get $00.25 raises, Constant displays of disloyalty, back handed comments, inept leadership. I know I said great pay for beginners just starting out, but after about 8 months in the Armed guard industry you should be making double if not more than what this company pays. Management so high on their own horses from their time spent in the military, but they're the same type of "leaders" that cause the low retention rates for the military in the first place. They just went through and fired 2 employees in a form of lower managment who weren't yes man after driving another one to resign because they offered no support or relief when he was asking for it. This happened after their massively stupid idea to fire all of their previous group in that position that were at this company before they were. Multiple officers are leaving to better paying companies or the industry all together. Now they're taking advantage of a military work study program and using the military personnel as "free" labor instead of training quality guards and giving them things to work towards. But let me tell you about how we are about to go national! Yet they can't even afford to give guards shirts so we can be in proper uniform. "But why doesn't any guard try and help?" Well their training department had to pay for everything out of their own personal money. When the middle management employee who resigned tried to set up contracts with uniform suppliers or gear supply companies he got turned away, was ridiculed and chastised infront of everyone for the proposal. Then another employee who in a similar peer group as the previously mentioned one, also managed the fleet maintenance tried to get all of the vehicles in a working order he was yelled at, and for "spending too much money" on vehicles they didn't maintain before and even lost 2 of the cars completely before getting fired for once again, not being a yes man. Bottom line, stay away and let this company fail. We tried to warn them, they didn't listen."
