Pros

Since I primarily selected to review the pay. That’s all I’m going to speak on. Because they are a subsidiary of the ODP corporation. ODP corporation takes care of their employees. For the work I was expected to do I feel I should have been paid closer to 45k but 42k was well within the ball park especially considering all the other things going on at Veyer. Like any job your manager matters. My manager was excellent. All in all the pay was good. The PTO was nice as well. My suggestion would be to try and find a spot working for Office Depot BSD on the sales end rather than the sourcing end. Since sourcing is now controlled by Veyer.

Cons

The cons are that Veyer is in the process of reorganizing its structure. Which means I don’t know where the sourcing team is headed. I had a wonderful experience the first 2 years under ODP’s umbrella. It was a great company to work for. I almost couldn’t believe how good it actually was. My team trained everyone adequately. Everyone was cross trained so you never felt bad taking your PTO. Everyone was respectful. But the last year and a half. That was all sort of removed with Veyer. They don’t really know what they are doing or how processes work at ODP. They are very unpredictable. So all I can say is try to get in with ODP if you can.

Pros

- Simple work, easy to learn - Great coworkers - Lower management & direct supervisors are kind and supportive - Low supervision and high autonomy in the workplace

Cons

- Mandatory 50h minimum weeks. You work ten hour days five days a week minimum, and their policy is "You go home when we say you go home." Some nights they'd push 12+ hour shifts. - Friday morning meeting: "If x number of you don't volunteer for overtime on the weekend, we will be drawing names" - No benefits or PTO for your first three months.
