Pros

Decent benefits if you have a family. Stock and retirement matching are nice, but make sure you know what you are investing in to. Sometimes the pay is competitive, but you need to really sell yourself. Best way to increase your pay is to find another position within the company. Office culture is acceptable, most people are friendly and it doesn't feel like a prison.

Cons

Struggling with budgeting, and needing to layoff people on an almost regular basis. Since the pandemic and the crash of the VSAT stock price, the company has really limited the perks of being an employee. A work from home policy was implemented for almost the entire company, and employees quality of life improved because of it, they have since forced just about everyone back into the office to make the leasing of their offices worth it for them. A lot of middle management can bog down your work day. A significant number of people have really dug in to their position and have not moved, making moving up and promoting difficult.
