Pros
Victory Medical Center payed well. The service it was attempting to offer was unique and it was a wonderful idea.
Cons
Victory medical center is the perfect example of an extremely poorly managed hospital. The corporate officers who would travel from Houston to San Antonio to dictate to the personnel in San Antonio how their facility should be run were poorly educated unqualified idiots(for lack of a better description). It was an example of a CEO who was not very good surrounding himself with stupid people so as redirect any peering questions of his own ability. This was only the beginning, the nature of the corporation lead to the hireling of a lot of really good personnel (high pay rates) which would come on board and then promptly quite when they recognized the degree of incompetence they had to battle on a corporate level. Those who didn't quit for that reason were let go one particular Friday without warning when the hospital had a mass layoff to cover poor management decisions which cost the hospital a lot or I should say a huge amount of money. This Hospital is a sinking ship and there is currently a mass exodus occurring (for anyone looking for good personnel) because the uncertainty is overwhelming.
