Pros

⭐ Pros (Glassdoor requires at least 5 words) • The veterans in the transitional housing program were the best part of the job. • The work itself was meaningful and could have made a real impact if properly supported. • Some coworkers genuinely cared about helping veterans.

Cons

⭐ Cons (Glassdoor requires at least 5 words — here is a thorough, powerful answer) • Leadership is disorganized, unprofessional, and lacks transparency. • Employees were hired and then let go in less than 5 months with no real explanation. • Other veterans working there were also let go, and all of our jobs were posted on Indeed less than a week later. • I was told to consider volunteering or applying for unemployment benefits to continue working in the GPD house while the organization still received funding. • There is no stability, no communication, and no real support for staff or the veterans living there. • Management decisions were inconsistent and created constant stress for employees. • High turnover directly impacts the wellbeing and safety of the veterans the program claims to support.

Serving Veterans who truly are in need.

Cons

Literally nothing positive to say about the operation or leadership of victory village. Their reputation among the community speaks for itself.

Pros

You don’t have to really do much throughout the day except pretend to work

Cons

Lack of team cohesion, nepotism, lying, ridiculously high staff turnover, lack of structure, torturously bad management.
