Pros

I’ve been here for just over a year now, and the best way to describe the culture simply is "refreshing". With working relationships built on mutual respect for each other's expertise, the people are genuinely kind, with no room for big egos. There’s no gatekeeping either. If someone discovers something new, they share it. If you reach out when you're struggling, people don't ignore the cry for help, they jump in to help you figure it out. There’s no micromanaging, with a very 'level-feeling' work environment. If you have a good idea, it doesn’t matter if you started yesterday or five years ago—leadership actually listens. Plus there is real celebration of unique perspectives and input. People are trusted to get their work done, and you feel motivated to do a job well for the sake of your teammates. Remote working is becoming a thing of the past, but at Vidsy, the remote working prevails. This enables for a real work-life balance, sacrificing none of your life to commuting, with a structure for keeping you feeling involved despite working apart. The addition of having an office to work at if you fancy some face-to-face time with colleagues is then a big bonus.

Cons

Office has UHT milk instead of fresh, takes a while to adjust

Pros

Vidsy offers one of the most collaborative, ego-free environments I’ve encountered in a decade of agency work. The work-life balance is a standout—true autonomy with a flexible WFH policy and a great office location. You get to touch a variety of exciting brands alongside coworkers who genuinely want to see you succeed. It’s a fantastic "respite" from the typical burnout culture.

Cons

While the culture is great, the long-term career trajectory has become less clear over time. What started with strong momentum in 2022 eventually shifted toward a high-volume execution model. Frequent shifts in leadership priorities and a lack of transparency regarding company health (including the disappearance of EOY bonuses) made it difficult to feel secure in a long-term path. I eventually felt my skill set plateauing, leading to my departure to avoid career stagnation as the work became extremely monotonous. TLDR. This is an ideal spot for two groups; recent grads looking for a foot in the door, or seasoned pros looking for a low-stress role where they can "get the bag" and enjoy their life after 5:00 PM. If you are looking for career advancement or to actively grow so that you can stay competitive in the industry, Vidsy might not be the best fit.
