Pros

Vidsy offers one of the most collaborative, ego-free environments I’ve encountered in a decade of agency work. The work-life balance is a standout—true autonomy with a flexible WFH policy and a great office location. You get to touch a variety of exciting brands alongside coworkers who genuinely want to see you succeed. It’s a fantastic "respite" from the typical burnout culture.

Cons

While the culture is great, the long-term career trajectory has become less clear over time. What started with strong momentum in 2022 eventually shifted toward a high-volume execution model. Frequent shifts in leadership priorities and a lack of transparency regarding company health (including the disappearance of EOY bonuses) made it difficult to feel secure in a long-term path. I eventually felt my skill set plateauing, leading to my departure to avoid career stagnation as the work became extremely monotonous. TLDR. This is an ideal spot for two groups; recent grads looking for a foot in the door, or seasoned pros looking for a low-stress role where they can "get the bag" and enjoy their life after 5:00 PM. If you are looking for career advancement or to actively grow so that you can stay competitive in the industry, Vidsy might not be the best fit.

Pros

"Cool" diverse people to work with that want to be social, flexible work from home policy & good vacation time.

Cons

No room for pay increases and salaries below market average. Everyone I know that works here is miserable and trying to leave. There is no real recognition for hard work and management plays obvious favorites based on outside of work personalities. Much of the team is working overtime, doing 12 hour days with no recognition. They would sell this idea of "self development" but only reward a sliver of employees for any personal gains or developments. Management is a mess overall with standards constantly changing. The cofounders are very much a boys club. One of them constantly acts unprofessional and would make side jokes or lewd comments about my personal life that often made me feel uncomfortable and singled out. Women would to be called “cold” and “rude” by male managers if they didn't smile on client calls or use emoji's in slack messages. I did not find it appropriate or professional for men to be making these comments on women or reprimanding them for being direct. This created a hostile and toxic work environment. HR does not seem to care and often drops the ball. They even acknowledge that. Management would often ask for feedback and input, but never actually did anything with it.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We're glad you valued our team culture, flexibility, and time-off policies during your tenure. We are sorry to hear your feedback regarding workload and inclusion. While excessive overtime -such as the 12-hour days you referenced - is certainly not the norm at Vidsy, we regret that this was your experience. We take your comments on fairness and professionalism seriously, and these have been shared with our leadership to ensure we continue to learn and improve. We remain committed to fostering a respectful environment; our current 34 eNPS and low attrition rates reflect a highly engaged team, but we recognize there is always room to grow. We appreciate you helping us identify where we can sharpen our focus.
