Pros

- FREE* clothes - Independent Working Style - Events!! - Supporting a small business that promotes sustainability - Supporting a local business too! - Supportive working environment In general, I would describe Vintagewknd as a place where you can learn to work independently. You're often managing a store on your own so it's learning how to manage different areas at once. It's always fun to meet loyal customers that share the same love towards a store you support. I was a customer turned part timer & I have no regrets! The management team always gave me the opportunity to shine! I was able to participate in events which gave me the exposure I needed in my future career. For someone who loves clothes, I loved how creative some of these clothes are! Not to mention unique! I really wanted to stay longer but couldn't :((

Cons

- Long hours! BUT they're more manageable compared to others. The store does close a little later on some days but it's understandable cos of the location - Customer service skills, HEAR ME OUT, with the amount of customers every day, Being able to interact with customers and meeting their needs is a must! I found it helpful to always hear what they're looking for first before recommending. - Independent working style, mainly because you're on your own for every shift which means multitasking! especially during peak periods. It would be nice to have someone assisting but learning how to manage everything in a store on your own is a skill of its own!

Pros

One thing I really liked about working here was the freedom to be creative and take initiative. You’re encouraged to pitch ideas, try new approaches, and learn through hands-on experience rather than just watching from the side. It’s a great environment for anyone who enjoys being challenged and wants to build confidence in content creation and brand storytelling.

Cons

The pace can be quite fast, and things move quickly from one project/task to another. It can feel a little overwhelming at first, especially if you’re still adjusting to the workflow. There isn’t always a fixed structure, so being proactive and adaptable is important!

Pros

I had a very good experience during my internship here. The team is small but very welcoming and supportive. It’s a great place to learn how a small business operates and to be involved in different parts of the work. The two founders work very well together, balancing each other’s strengths and sharing a clear vision for the company. It’s no surprise that this company is growing and doing well today and continue to grow in the future Pros: Free clothes, learning the Bts of TikTok live operations, hands-on experience prepping for clothing live sessions, and maybe gaining a little understanding of sustainability. I’m someone who isn’t very environmentally conscious Caz I just throw things away if I don’t need them, but being around the team kind of rubs off on you and changes how you think

Cons

The pantry can be improved Maybe a small monthly snack refresh would help keep everyone extra motivated🍪
