Pros

Analytics here actually informs product decisions — I've seen recommendations from my deck ship as features within a quarter, which is rare in larger orgs. Working with enterprise learner datasets at scale is good hands-on, especially for someone earlier in their career. Team is analytical and evidence-based; arguments stop when someone shows the data.

Cons

Stack isn't cutting-edge — we're on the basics of Redshift and BigQuery and Tableau. Newer tooling would unlock better work. Compensation is mid-market, not top-market. If you want to learn analytics in a setting where it matters, this works. If you want to be on the bleeding edge of analytics tooling, you'd be frustrated.

Pros

QA gets actual respect here, which isn't always the case in services-flavoured companies. Cross-team relationship with dev is healthy — when I raise something, the response is usually 'show me the repro,' not 'are you sure?'. I test across modules which keeps the role from getting narrow. Manager doesn't ping me on weekends, which I'd been worried about coming in.

Cons

Test infrastructure is older than I'd like. We're modernising but it's been on the roadmap longer than I'd want. Career path beyond senior QA isn't fully mapped — I asked recently and got a thoughtful answer but no real plan. If you're a QA lifer who wants a clean test-engineering progression, this might frustrate you.
