- VC has some very good people
- Great culture (prior to being engulfed by DXC Technologies)
- A few really interesting projects
- Possible to achieve a good work life balance
Cons
- Culture really went downhill after acquisition by DXC Technologies
- Percentage time spent with customers went way down after acquisition - in person contact went down due to Covid-19 but even remote contact with customers gave way several initiatives to try help DXC account teams change customer conversations from operational & transactional to more strategic
- Was naive about level of contacts that DXC account teams have - even many of the top 200 accounts’ primary customer relationships are with ITO contract owners or purchasing
- Advisory leadership was not very focused on employee/consultant development
- Primary owners seemed more interested in cashing out vs continuing to build a unique high value organization
- VC is a shadow of its former self - now just pieces in a very large (125K+ employee organization)
