Pros
Good cause at it's core
Cons
This organization is completely ruled by hierarchy. The top level managers, exec team, CEO, etc. do not care about anything else but keeping funds coming in to support their huge salaries. They do not keep track of their own time off - whenever it suits them they take off WITH pay, while meticulously scrutinizing lower-paid employees. The way things are done are stuck in the 90's and no one wants to change, as long as the checks cash. Though, the donations are dwindling due to the relative old-age of the donors, and lack of anything new and exciting to attract a younger donorship group. With large salaries of "Christian" execs who are predominately bullies and snobs, dwindling donations due to archaic ways of doing things, and insane spending on frivolous items, it's a wonder how Vitae stays in business. I feel for founder Carl Landwehr. He's a great guy whom I've known a while and respect. Unfortunately, this is not the late 90's and things need to change - huge salaries for starters!
