Pros

Good work life balance. Good amount of short term travel.

Cons

1. There is no scientific or number based appraisal process. The appraisal totally depends on perception of one individual called customer (again, a Volvo employee) who would rate you based on his/her interactions with you. 2. You make good progress if you a malayalee chrisitan, or a malayalee. The work done by these people would always get recognition and all initiatives/committee are usually filled with them. If you don't belong to that race, then you would be made to quit on your own. 3. The company HR policies are completely based on your manager. Right from getting a pen till onsite assignments , you would need requesting him/her. So, one wrong move with him/her and it would cost your relationship badly. Lot of managers are misfit for the job and totally partial.

Pros

Really inclusive environment and most of campus is already with ABW - activity based workplace (flexible seating).

Cons

Sometimes due to the very inclusive environment, decisions can take a little longer.

Pros

Great team of colleagues. Employee who are focused on ensuring their best. Excellent collaboration between teams. Colleagues who will look past the negative culture and continue to do their best for the company.

Cons

Culture & HR team who are clueless about global teams and work strategies. Focus on how many days and hours are spent in the office, rather than quality of work delivered. "You are being tracked by HR" has become the new way of life with the new culture. Total lack of communication after announcing job cuts are coming, due to awful truck sales and loss of market share in USA. Heavily bloated VP structure.
