Pros

Small company feel. Flat organization where analyst have direct contact with senior VPs. Benefits are outstanding compared to Fortunae 500 companies. Mack does not have a stiff corporate culture or stick to a strict heirarchy in reporting. The culture is laid-back and friendly. People perfer to visit your work space to ask questions or to collaborate instead of using the phone or e-mail.

Cons

Career growth and/or job rotations are limited due to flat oranization and many older employees who aren't going anywhere. Promotions at Mack are up to 5% for same pay grade and up to 10% per grade level increase. Otherwise, regular annual pay increases average 2%-3.5% depending on where the industry is in its cycle.

Really inclusive environment and most of campus is already with ABW - activity based workplace (flexible seating).

Cons

Sometimes due to the very inclusive environment, decisions can take a little longer.

Pros

Great team of colleagues. Employee who are focused on ensuring their best. Excellent collaboration between teams. Colleagues who will look past the negative culture and continue to do their best for the company.

Cons

Culture & HR team who are clueless about global teams and work strategies. Focus on how many days and hours are spent in the office, rather than quality of work delivered. "You are being tracked by HR" has become the new way of life with the new culture. Total lack of communication after announcing job cuts are coming, due to awful truck sales and loss of market share in USA. Heavily bloated VP structure.
