Pros
The company is based in a tiny midwest town and recruit from midwest colleges so if you are interested in working in corporate retail without having to move to a large city, this is it. No other pros (and that is only a pro is you would like to live in Davenport, Iowa).
Cons
Extremely low pay- not competitive with the industry in any way Out dated, sexist policies- woman cannot wear pants, must wear tights/panty hose A company filled with red tape and policies- have never experienced a company with so many rules and regulations. If you work at corporate, you cannot have a bottle of water at your desk. The micro management and policies are so strange, bigger things to focus on to push your business forward than worry about if your employees drink water at their desk. Not a real corporate buying/merchandising structure, people who don't have enough experience get promoted into titles that if they were to leave and work in any other corporate merch organization, they would not be qualified for the same job. A sea of sameness, every executive training class is made up of basically the same white woman, not a lot of diversity as well as people from outside organizations, one track mind, stuck in the past.
