- Great salary and benefits, Vitality, snacks, dog friendly office, 5% training bonus towards your personal or professional development

Cons

Where do I start… when I left my previous company for Vorboss, I was promised a really positive and inclusive culture and it was anything but that. Everyone is petrified of senior leadership and the CEO, to the point where if the CEO is in the kitchen, they will actively avoid it until he leaves - that’s how unapproachable he is. Like a previous review has said, it’s ironic because he tries to come across like he cares about culture so much but it’s all for show. I have never felt so on edge working for a company before. There were also constant layoff’s, and the way they were handled by senior leadership and HR was shocking. You could be working at your desk and see HR approaching and immediately feel on edge. We used to joke that we were going to be next to get that tap on the shoulder. I saw HR actively pick people out and tell them to pack their things in front of everyone, before escorting them out like they were a criminal. It is so embarrassing. I understand layoff’s need to happen from a business perspective, but the way they were handled was shocking for a company that “care so much about the culture”. Like a previous review said, the CEO has a standup every so often where senior leadership will stand around a table whilst the CEO shouts at them, it’s incredibly awkward. We used to get invited to them to watch but that stopped happening. At company socials and summer/christmas parties you’re encouraged to speak to the CEO, and by encouraged, I mean more of a “I really recommend you do this if you want to keep your job” which is just insane. It gave a message that if you weren’t friends with the CEO, your job was on the line. Speaking of being friends with the CEO, pretty much everyone in senior leadership are his friends! And absolutely nobody has a clue what their jobs even are! They say that they want this to be the best job you’ve ever had, and I can hands down say it was the worst. Such a shame for a company with so much potential

Sorry that things didn’t work out for you here. I don’t believe that anyone is ‘petrified’ of Tim and the leadership team. Given how accessible the team is (Tim has literally dozens of WhatsApps from employees across the business every day), your comments are a surprise to me. I can’t agree with them – but my team and I will think about how to ensure there aren’t others that feel this way. The recent departures that I believe you’re referring to were the result of poor performance, with multiple instances of feedback in the run up to that. I understand it can be unsettling to see colleagues move on, but everyone is given the tools to succeed here. Thanks for recognising the great benefits that we offer. We ensure everything is in place for people to thrive, but it doesn’t work out for everyone. Riks, Chief People Officer

Pros

Vorboss has truly been one of the best companies I’ve had the pleasure of working for. During my time here, I went through some very difficult personal circumstances, and I can wholeheartedly say the support I received was incredible. From HR and my Sales Manager to the CRO, everyone treated me with kindness, empathy, and understanding. It’s rare to find a workplace where you’re seen and supported as a person, not just an employee — and for that, I’ll always be grateful. One of the things I really valued was Vorboss’s openness to career development and internal moves. If you take the initiative and express interest, there are real opportunities to explore secondments and change paths within the business. I’ve seen several colleagues successfully transition into new roles because the company truly encourages growth from within. I understand that not everyone may have the same experience, but from my perspective, Vorboss is far from a toxic environment. It’s a company with an ambitious culture, supportive leadership, and a strong focus on doing the right thing by its people. The only reason I’ve chosen to move on is that I’m looking for something a bit more fast-paced to align with where I see my career heading. It was a tough decision, and I’m genuinely sad to be leaving such a great team behind. I’ve had a fantastic experience and hope that our paths may cross again one day. To anyone thinking about joining: don’t hesitate. It’s a brilliant place to work if you value real opportunities to grow.

Cons

The main challenge I experienced was the frequent changes within the company

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughtful review, it truly means a lot to us. We’re incredibly proud to hear that you felt supported during your time at Vorboss, particularly during a personally challenging period. One of our core values is treating people as people first, with empathy, respect, and care, and it's encouraging to know that this came through in your experience across different levels of the business. We also appreciate your feedback around internal mobility and career development. It’s something we continue to invest in, and we're glad you felt those opportunities were accessible and meaningful. Thank you again for your kind words and contributions. We’re genuinely sorry to see you go but wish you all the best in your next chapter. Our door will always remain open, and we hope our paths do cross again. Riks

Pros

- decent benefits - some very talented and competent members in their staff

Cons

Unfortunately the worst employment experience I’ve ever had, which is ironic because one of their goals is to be ‘the best employer you’ve ever had’. This experience had a catastrophic impact on my mental health. It was disappointing going into a role as an Account Manager, only to be told that you won’t have any accounts to manage, and you never will. The role has now been renamed at Area Manager, which is thankfully more apt, but realistically, it should probably be BDM or Sales Manager. Door-to-door, cold selling is the reality. It was also very disappointing being told that it’s a flexible working environment, where you’ll be able to work from home, then learning that there is no flexibility for that at all. Many people turned up to work while being ill due to this inflexible environment. There were times I was left absolutely shocked and appalled at the conduct of upper management, with people being left humiliated in front of their peers. It seems that the sales environment was a particularly unhappy place. I got the impression that a lot of the other teams enjoy their job and their positions, a huge contrast to the sales environment where I know a lot of people don’t/didn’t enjoy their roles.
