Pros

There is nothing good about Vorsight. If you read anything positive about this place, that person is lying and is probably a senior level employee trying to offset some of the terrible reviews.

Cons

There are no transferable skills from this job- they love to talk about how you'll be introduced to different industries and they even have the audacity to say that working here is like getting a "mini MBA." Lies. You just scour LinkedIn profiles looking for relevant people and then call them a thousand times each day until that person finally picks up the phone. That is LITERALLY all you do. Just linkedin and dialing. Working at Vorsight is soul crushing. Most people only work at Vorsight for about three months before they leave because this job is terrible and the longer you stay, the worse it is for your resume. If you respect yourself, find a different place to work. A lot of people also come here thinking it's a way to enter the corporate world- couldn't be farther from the truth. You'll be stuck in sales forever because there's no way to apply what you do here to anything other than sales. They have a high turnover rate because everyone wants to get out.

Thanks for the feedback. We strive within our interview process to always hire those with the greatest potential to succeed in their desired role. All new hires receive our award-winning training and countless hours of ongoing development. Those who continue to develop their skills with us for a year or more have shown tremendous success in both moving up in our business and/or outside opportunities as a direct result of the skills they've mastered and connections they've made during their experience at Vorsight. Like all businesses, sometimes we find out we've hired someone who is simply not a fit, despite great intentions and investment from both sides.

Pros

Very hardworking and innovative environment that is the perfect fit for someone coming right out of college to really dive deep into the psychology of the top of the sales funnel.

Cons

Cold calling is tough. It's not for everyone.

Pros

- Amazing training. I truly feel that I have learned more applicable and important skills at Vorsight than I did during my 4 years of college. - Amazing culture. A group a very intelligent, fun, driven people who I looked forward to working with everyday. Everyone in the office meshes so well. It's an amazing thing when you find yourself choosing to hang out with work people on the weekends when you're forced to spend the whole work week with them. - Great experience. Vorsight allows you to learn about so many different industries. You also build your communication skills and learn how to talk to and interact with C-Level executives at Fortune 500 companies. - Relationship building. Vorsight has given me the opportunity to form relationships with all of my different clients that I am supporting. It has taught me the importance of forming strong relationships with your colleagues, clients, prospects, etc.

Cons

- There's unfortunately a cap on how much you are able to grow within the company. Once you hit Sr. Account Manager or Sr. Client Development Associate, there is really no where to go from there unless a Management role opens up. - Common sales headaches. The industry is tough and you have to be very thick skinned and strong. The industry/position is not for some people and you will quickly learn whether or not you belong. - Base salary is a bit low compared to similar companies in the DC area. However, with hard work and determination, the uncapped commission structure can allow you to make anywhere from 55k+ in a year.

Thanks for sharing your feedback! We love hearing that our former BDA's found such value in our training process. It sounds like you took advantage of the opportunity to work with clients across a range of industries and built relationships with your reps- all things we encourage. As your review highlights, we offer a base salary with a higher commission potential than other similar roles. We are a performance-based organization and while the base salary may be lower, the opportunity for uncapped commission provides Associates the room to earn $55k+ in their first year.
