Things quickly went downhill once the new CTO joined. He has a habit of whining about everything. For someone so incompetent himself, he sure does have a lot to say about others not being good at their work. First at the scene to criticize and complain about an issue and then conveniently disappears when actual work needs to be done.
The CEO has a habit of make false claims and posting incorrect info without talking to the team. A 15 min conversation with him is enough to understand that he has no idea about his own product. Just as incompetent as the CTO.
Hiring is based on your relation with upper management rather than merit. If you are friends with the the CEO or the CTO, you are almost guaranteed to get a job with a fancy title.
You are better off sitting jobless at home than working here and losing your sanity.
