WARNING: My Experience with Vydia Music Distribution After more than 3 years of dealing with Vydia, I feel compelled to share my experience. Vydia falsely accused my music of artificial streaming and used this as justification to withhold over £5,000 in royalties that were rightfully earned. What makes this situation even more concerning is that despite claiming my music violated their policies, they continued to keep my songs live on streaming platforms, where they continued generating streams and revenue month after month. If the streams were genuinely invalid, why were my releases left active and monetized? That is a question Vydia has never properly answered. Over time, I have also noticed changes to their terms and conditions that appear designed to protect the company while leaving artists with fewer rights and less transparency regarding withheld earnings. As an independent artist, I expect fair treatment, accurate reporting, and payment for every legitimate stream generated by my music. Instead, I have spent years attempting to recover royalties that I believe are owed to me. I will be pursuing all available legal options to recover my earnings, seek compensation, and hold accountable everyone involved in what I consider to be unfair and deceptive business practices. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise artists to thoroughly research Vydia before distributing their music through the platform. Every stream matters. Every royalty matters. Artists deserve transparency, accountability, and payment for the work they create.
