Pros
Immediate supervisors and LCM team are good. Good amount of PTO. Good health insurance.
Cons
KPIs are more important than patients. There’s no SOP for the job so processes change all the time and it’s aggravating. Sketchy about billing. Low pay. Upper management are sneaky and silent, handing down judgment from on high with no concept of the realities of this job. Caseloads are too high. Stalking patients by calling PCPs, pharmacies, etc to find a good phone number feels intrusive. Discharging patients is like pulling teeth. Close to half my patients are unreachable but still on my caseload requiring regular attempts to contact. Patients don’t matter. Money does. They will tell you they promote from within but they don’t even advertise job postings internally, then surprise! New positions and team members we never had an opportunity to apply for. It’s very dead-end.
