Pros

Respectful-- work in a compassionate environment that values all team members. Engaging-- learn something new every day working with a group of people from diverse professional and educational backgrounds. Rewarding-- receive positive and constructive feedback from coworkers and management, get recognized for your successes and passions. Responsive: give feedback, see results! For example: I care about reducing waste and making a conscious effort to be green. At my request during the first few months of my employment we've added a recycling bin, switched over from disposable coffee pods to reusable filters, and traded paper for cloth hand towels. Great Location-- look out the window at the ocean, maybe take the office dog on a walk to the beach on your break. Relaxed Dress Code-- wear joggers and flip-flops to work if you want, just be clean.

Cons

Occasionally stressful-- if you work here, you must understand that you will be working on projects for CEO's of leading companies in real estate and tech. These are billion dollar industries; there is a LOT of pressure to deliver quality work to our clients, so flagrancy and lack of attention to deal are never options. Not to be taken personally: to be transparent, you can expect intensity from management at times. Resilience of character is an asset at this job.

Pros

Huge leader in real estate which lets us work on really cool projects and learn about the latest in technology, leadership and research. Love working remote. Love the team

Cons

Would be great if we had more time in the day.

Pros

None. I worked here for over 3 and found no pros.

Cons

For the first 3 years of my employment I was an "independent contractor" but treat more like an employee. I was asked to go into the office each day, be available in business hours, and not have my own free will. It was a very abusive and not well-managed environment. The managers have no respect for their staff members and just saw us as machines. After being there 3.5 years there was no trust or loyalty developed. FINALLY they saw some sesnse and they made everybody employees at the turn of this year. But hey, even then they still treat you poorly- minimum sick days, minimum vacation, no benefits or retirement, and you will still get abused on a daily basis. Do not go here. The two partners have no self-awareness, in my three years I saw 21 people come and go working here. They have no constant stable team. They are a husband and wife team who bring their personal arguments into the office, which makes for a very poor work environment when you can hear the two partners of a company arguing constantly.
