Expect extremely long hours, often working past midnight and even on major holidays (like July 4th and Christmas) and all weekends (ILLEGAL)—sometimes unnecessarily. A particular manager creates a toxic environment where team members frequently experience emotional distress and ultimately leave. Boundaries and personal time are not respected; after hours even late-night messages are common such as 12 am, 2 am, , and there have been unreasonable expectations to work until 3–4 a.m. This manager shows clear favoritism toward certain individual regardless of qualifications, while unfairly burdening others. Vacation or even sick leave is discouraged during non-close period—even when well-earned after long stretches of overtime. Requesting time off may result in being assigned additional responsibilities that don’t belong to you. Meanwhile, the manager takes time off without hesitation. Direction is often unclear, frequently changes without warning, and micromanagement is constant. Overall, the leadership style is inconsistent, controlling.
