+ Sometimes making a meaningful difference to peoples lives + Usually having the freedom to manage your own schedule + Some freedom to create and use your own ideas for helping clients + Some sites have an amazing staff culture
Cons
- Everything depends on which manager or managers you get - High caseloads/workloads - Understaffed and not compensated for working overtime - Left me extremely burnt out - the computer systems we relied on a lot would go down a lot and the effect that had on our work was not taken into account for KPIs
