WLCAC is a community based organization that goes above and beyond the call of duty. We help people to become self sufficient and self determined with life and career goals. We help with senior services , work source services, family services, GRYD program for kids , and homeless services. The employees that work with our company are here because they love to help others . WLCAC sits on a 7 acre lot that provides a safe haven for people to come and visit in the Watts community. We have a skate park that was personally built by Tony Hawk and friends. This allows kids of all ages to practice their craft without outside influence from gangs and other predators. We also have Phoenix hall , 99 seat theatre , Freedom Hall , Cecil Ferguson Art Gallery, and Howard Bingham institute. These areas have no funding but provide a space that community can use for a variety of things. Such as meetings, plays , concerts, voting polls, and training seminars . We believe in advocating for community betterment here at WLCAC. Our staff goes above and beyond to help bring and provide services to the community. Our Family Source program and Homeless program are champions in service, canvassing communities and bringing information forth to areas where highly needed. Our food giveaway program is priceless. Our landscaping crew cleans constantly in areas where the city and county should be cleaning. The list just goes on and on.
