Pros

big name clients, decent pay compared to other agencies, but it isn't worth it compared to the hours worked

Cons

- ineffective leadership, they don't care about their employees (despite how much the CEO may act like he does on LinkedIn) - expected to work around the clock - junior staff used as scapegoats, with leadership rarely providing clear direction - no clear opportunities for growth

Pros

Diverse team. Everyone director level and below is talented and deserves so much better. Big name clients that look good on a resume.

Cons

This place ruined my mental health. At WORTHI's height, you worked on big name clients but at the cost of no work life balance, long hours and feeling glued to your computer. Now, the DEI rollbacks and general nature of agency life have affected client turnover, causing layoffs, obvious budget constraints that are not being addressed by leadership and a lack of job security (and likability) overall. Almost an entire team got laid off the week before Thanksgiving with their benefits ending at the end of that month. This team was also known for putting in consistently long hours (10-14 hour days). The number of staff has been cut in half due to layoffs and people leaving. A handful have decided to leave with nothing lined up because being unemployed, even in this economy is better than working at WORTHI. People who have been laid off aren't receiving any warning and any severance. The agency is penny pinching and clearly has nothing to give. Freelancers and partners are begging to get paid, and the CEO will gaslight you about it. (It's embarrassing honestly.) They cut back on pivotal software that employees need to do their jobs well and have replaced them with cheap alternatives that make your job harder. Corporate cards and Uber accounts are declining. Employee morale is at an all-time low. Leadership lacks transparency, emotional intelligence, empathy and... leadership. Can't believe a word that VPs and above say. They will spin a narrative to make themselves look better and throw you under the bus. They are condescending and calculated, pretending that everything is fine and that the agency is doing well. There is no room for growth. Minimal promotions have occurred. (Those who have been promoted are now laid off.) False promises around team capabilities are being made to clients, leaving employees out of the loop and thrown into the fire. Small team structure makes bandwidth limited. There is no room to actually produce good ideas/work when you are just trying to make it through the day and meet your deadlines so you can log off. This place is unlike anything I have ever experienced before (derogatory). Please please please do not let what you see on LinkedIn and Instagram fool you into working here, whether you are a freelancer or looking ti be a full-time employee. WORTHI is putting an a huge facade.

Pros

Big named clients and sometimes really cool projects, fully remote if you value flexibility, great PTO policy.

Cons

Everything else. This place is being run to the ground due to inefficient leadership. Not only is the CEO someone who puts on a front for a LinkedIn, the “VPs” in charge of the teams are not equipped to actually lead people. Stay away from this place unless you enjoy being gaslit on a daily basis, told you’re bad at your job with concrete feedback, and not having any clear paths for growth/defines job responsibilities.
