Pros
Medium size company. They used to be good to their employees with opportunities, fair pay and decent benefits.
Cons
Company now DEMANDS employees do allot more with less people, you will generally have to work 50+ hours just to keep your head above water and this is now becoming the status quo not a temporary period. Furthermore, you are not supported or provided the tools to succeed as an employee. A prevalent sentiment strongly permeates where if you do not like it go find a job somewhere else, this while they know the job market challenges that exist. Many of the benefits have been slashed or frozen, employees are now required to pay allot more for their health insurance and get less in return. Professional development and training budget does not exist, you are expected to learn any new technologies on your own. Pay has been generally stagnant with a bleak outlook at least for the near future. All this for a non-profit company that has made a profit every year for the past 10 years. Although i am not a minority person, i know that those who are will be challenged and not allowed to get into management or beyond certain levels within the company.
