Pros

- Good Pay - Good Benefits - Fun People - Lots of learning if you are a designer or a favorite. If not enjoy your desk job and learning from google.

Cons

- No Work/ Life Balance - Little respect from upper managment - Have to get the job done to pay the bills - Tons of pressure to push high priced items - Sass is high and communication is low - All business and HR is outsourced to everything is hear say - If you arent a designer bringing in money you are low man on the totum pole.

Pros

Small office, great interaction with the owners, many opportunities to do all kinds or things related to design as well as general business management. Beautiful location. High end and very discerning clientele, great exposure to very interesting people. The owners are fantastic designers and are willing to share their expertise and skill. They are also very respectful and accommodating people. Hence, the environment is conducive to personal and professional growth and mentoring.

Cons

The size of the company means that along with the interesting things, you get to do the crappy jobs as well. It is part of the deal, if you can consider that a negative. It is a also a newer company so pay structures, benefits etc are not set in stone yet, again, which, again, may be negative for some.

Pros

You learn a lot about the business. It is a small firm so you get to do various tasks. You get to travel and go to sourcing trip and furniture shows, nationally and internationally.

Cons

Not a great environment to work. Vacation time is a touchy subject for the owners, who never seem to take one. You are expected to work overtime, weekends and holidays. There is no flexibility with working hours/ days… This is a very NYC mentality firm, in Jackson Hole WY, which creates a lot of friction between the owners and the employees.
