Pros
Good salary Good benefits OK pension (not the best)
Cons
- very stressful - high turnover - baptism by fire approach - caveman era technology - inconsistency between managers (different rules for different people) - failure to keep new staff - does not care about employee retention (just look at EA job that has been advertised for two years straight) - learning a job like EA takes more than 15 weeks but big wigs at WSIB are too narrow minded to acknowledge and accept this - Indifferent and cut throat with new EA's - Fear based management style - female dominated = no one cares and open to abuse (although $ is decent) - some trainers are very rude and unprofessional - very top heavy (a lot of managers/directors) - no accountability - very youth oriented organization (only appear to hire young people in their 20's)
