Pros
There are some oppportunities to move beyond your job area and work closely in other areas of the company. The company is also small and lends well to someone who wants to be very hands on and own their projects. Colleagues tend to look out for each other but are not always cooperative with each other as it pertains to accomplishing goals. Nonetheless, there are talented and collegial people on staff.
Cons
There is a very high level of disorganization and disfunction with no clear goals and mixed messages from management. It functions like a bureaucracy on its own and through the City Colleges of Chicago's bureaucracy, too so it's a double edged sword.
