Pros
The best part of working for SILMIX was the overall environment. My co-workers were fantastic, and very supportive of helping me learn my job, which was very complicated. Autonomy was expected and appreciated in the workplace. The compensation was excellent.
Cons
A challenge I faced in this position was lack of supervision to provide job expectations, and appropriate training. However, my co-workers did a great job at assisting me in learning the complicated job tasks. My immediate supervisor resigned shortly after I was hired, and I assumed quite a bit more responsibility, without compensation or training.
