Pros

They actually pay pretty well, you could vacation, you don’t have other managers to worry about under you, and you’re basically guaranteed your days off every week

Cons

You work six days on two days off, you have to work every holiday, which, of course means no vacations during spring break or summer or Christmas or Thanksgiving. Basically any of the times that you would normally take a vacation you can’t take a vacation. Unless your District has a Relief Manager, which, to my knowledge, most of them, do not, when someone else goes on vacation, you lose your days off. also, apparently they can take your days off without paying you more money but if you need to take time off for let’s say an illness, they might just take your vacation, so they can. “still pay you “… the biggest con is how they allow people who don’t know what the hell they’re doing continue to work there they allow people to run the store into the ground but then sometimes they fire people without giving them an opportunity. Last but not least being a woman in the restaurant industry, especially restaurant management is a struggle to begin with, but it feels as if the women are treated differently in this particular restaurant. Maybe it’s just my franchise. I’m age $65,000 last year but half of that was my bonus, if I weren’t extremely good at my job, I wouldn’t have made enough money to survive.

Pros

Solid pay for the industry Okay benefits Employee stock purchase plan Pretty consistent hours The actual work is difficult, but fun after you get good at it. Upward momentum is difficult, but the pay scales very well if you work your way up into management. Prepare for intense work if you do though.

Cons

They hire everyone, and your team will make or break your experience. Genuine safety concerns on 3rd shift. You need to be prepared for people to act out. Senior management only have operation management skills. They are not good "people" managers at all. Only "number" managers.
