Pros
pay and insurance benefits were great, some of the co-workers were a joy but things changed once flexible scheduling and company restructuring took place. Good pay is no substitute for a non-hostile work environment.
Cons
improper/outdated training and materials (no real tools on store net for bedside delivery as of 2/14), understaffed, excessive work load, poor work ethic of fellow employees (last minute call offs, inappropriate shift switches, or intentional work slow down), absent store managers/DMs (ours was always at the DO, Fred Prior seminars, or with the region's other store managers), poor communication (eg. e-mails and phone calls not answered in a timely manner), lack of upper management support. There is no work-life balance if you have children, nor is there any accomodation for non-hourly employee chronic illness (eg. meal breaks for diabetics).
