I am very sorry that you did not enjoy your time with us and found both colleagues and management difficult, there isn't however a toxic culture and as a group I think that we all get along very well.
Management do sit on desks, with their teams, and this may on occasion lead to a feeling of them being omnipresent, but I genuinely don't think that we are at all hierarchical. Everyone chips in, we work as teams on assignments, are collaborative and there are no special privileges with seniority.
It is fair to say that we have had few senior hires from outside the Company and have traditionally preferred to promote from within, with a strong core of people who have all worked together for 15 years . This may at times lead to a very definite Walker Hamill culture.
I sense that this may have been your first or second job and I hope that as your career progresses you may reflect and hopefully reassess you experience with us once you have had exposure to additional management styles.
I am glad that you liked the offices and the freedom to book time off.
