Pros
Wallace State Community College is a great place to work. The college serves as an access point to higher education for the surrounding community. If you believe in providing equal access to higher education in a fast-paced environment, then this is the college for you.
Cons
Despite an overall attempt to be more integrated, Wallace State tends to operate in silos. This isn't necessarily due to a lack of cooperation on the part of the college's administration, but rather a lack of willingness on the part of college faculty and staff to embrace change. Overall, if you are an agent of change, there is much ground to be gained.
