Pros

Good health insurance and depending on the branch of the company you work in there are plenty of other benefits. If it is something you enjoy, the park admittance and company discounts can be a great benefit and for hourly employees the Aspire education program is amazing, though it does not apply to salaried employees. There can be great room for growth and development if you are fortunate enough to meet and network with people that will help you move, but skill alone will not be enough. PTO earning is reasonable, although depending on the size of your team you may struggle to be able to actually use the time you earn.

Cons

Operations managers are significantly underpaid, hourly leads can make more than their managers by pulling an occasional overtime shift very easily. No park or resort operations manager works 40 or even 45 (if you account for the 1 hour unpaid lunch no one takes), most will work closer to 60 at best despite the company's claims that they care about work life balance.

Pros

Free passes to the parks and discount in the stores.

Cons

Management is disorganized, and the workplace culture is consistently challenging. Frequent organizational changes are introduced with little communication or clarity about the path forward, creating uncertainty and frustration. While some teams provide a better experience than others, a toxic environment is prevalent across much of the organization. Rather than investing in employee growth, development, and internal advancement, the culture often feels focused on limiting employees' potential instead of empowering them to succeed.
