Pros

I honestly loved my time at Walters! Hitting the sales goals each month can definitely be stressful, but the goals are not unattainable so long as you are willing to put in the time and work. I loved the flexibility that came with the sales role, but it also requires some serious personal time management skills to ensure you are scheduling enough tours to hit your target sales numbers. Training/onboarding was better than previous companies I had worked for. The one downside of Walters is that they seem to do a massive overhaul of their systems/processes/hierarchy structure almost every year, which can cause strain on both employees and brides. Overall, would still definitely recommend working for Walters Wedding Estates! Pros: Great hospitality company, lots of opportunities to learn, sales offered nice bonus structure

Stressful, a bit chaotic with how frequently they change up the overall structure

Remote work. Flexible schedule. Unlimited PTO.

Cons

Culture took a complete nosedive in the last year. Management will dangle carrots to get everything out of you and give nothing in return. No raises last year but was told sometime in 2026 it would happen. When this was brought up by the leadership team in 2026 they said compensation was a "hard" thing to address, but they acquired more venues and will do team building activities like take the teams to MLB games.
