Pros
None. They don’t even worked fixed shifts swing shift is mandatory
Cons
Management doesn’t have a clue, they are rude. The company is using equipment that should have been decommissioned in the 50s. Dangerous work environment, and no chance of career advancement unless you are related to the family that owns the business
Job is not secure. They often lay off employees with no warning. Management likes to gossip and make assumptions instead of observing and assessing employees and situations properly.
Company takes advantage of the low wages in town to try and justify the fact that they pay $10 an hour for a job that pays $20+ an hour anywhere else
Ps: management is completely racist and sexist. Former employee I was laid off two weeks from my wife’s due date, cause for the layoff my direct manager later told me was because higher ups realized I was married into a family they didn’t like, and said that the decision was ultimately made when I put in my vacation request to stay home for a few days after my wife delivered and helped with the baby. I was harassed with sexist comments saying that I was a wuss wanting to help my wife with the child and my place was at work, female employees are treated harshly at this company and the men running the business are incredibly old fashioned... and not in a good way
