Pros
I personally have worked with a lovely team in a relaxed yet professional atmosphere, and when working in other stores to support I have felt a similar atmosphere in these places too. Lots of the staff are very young and due to similar personality traits due to age it was lovely to work with staff I was compatible with. This ensured productivity and both a good working atmosphere and a good atmosphere for customers instore. It's not an intimidating, "snobby" brand to work for unlike other high street brandss, yet still is widely respected and popular, so adapting to the role and continuing then to help others adapt felt very stress-free and satisfactory.
Cons
There was a severe lack of organisation and support during staffing and recruitment issues instore- this was assumedly a people issue within the area rather than the company itself. Again, this resulted in more external people issues- there was a lack of credibility, respect and attention given when due to team members, which caused more issues with staffing. This was due to rational advice and recommendations being ignored consistently which was the reason for my leaving. However I would love to return to a role within the company, as I'm sure the same mistakes wouldn't be made again.
