Pros
The perks are having access to the studio lot and being able to see the sound stages. The other coworkers are also generally cool and can end up becoming good friends if you last in this position long enough.
Cons
They do not pay the poor tour guides and clerk floaters enough for what they have to endure on a daily basis.Guests are always rude, and most of the management will throw their employees under the bus any chance they get. The compensation is incredibly poor and much below other studios standard, and the union is also no help when it comes to management who will leave you in horrible situations with guests. This position is marketed as a foot in the door into the entertainment industry but it is far from that.
