Pros
You talk about Harry Potter, meet wonderful people, make ground ups and children's day. Most of the people you work with are as wonderfully weird as you are. You can pick up certain props & costumes, get to do speaches in front of hundreds of people, about Harry Potter & behind the scenes secrets. You work your way up to doing private tours & possibly be a death eater.
Cons
It's 8 hours on your feet all day everyday & it's shift work. There's also area's where your in the dark so if you can't handle all three of those - don't work here cause itsnot fair on others to pick up the slack/be stuck on those positions. The job is talking to visitors, not your friends & a lot of colleagues don't do that & get paid the same as you, when you work your bum off. There's not enough room for growth within the company, I have applied for various jobs within the company & feedback has always come through HR with usual BS reasons, nothing to actually help you. If you work hard it's then expected of you & you get overlooked. Pay is not living wage, if your single & renting a room in Watford, you can't afford to eat atm. Middle management DO NOT listen to you, let alone show their faces. Upper management have no idea what it's like on the floor.
