Pros
At this point very little, the organization is in shambles, pay is abysmal, benefits have been slashed, most departments like housekeeping, dining services, technology have all been outsourced. Virtually no benefits of working here.
Cons
I have never in my long career worked for an organization that tries so hard to ensure the failure of their staff. You will not be given any support or the tools to do your job. You will be required to absorb the job functions of departing staff with little to no compensation. You will likely be threatened with outsourcing. You will have to deal with an administration that is so completely clueless as to what you do that they'll constantly question your worth. You will be asked to give up your life, zero free time, you'll be expected to work 80 hours a week and then begged to donate your time and money back to the college. The morale amongst staff has become so low, you'll probably feel physically ill to go to work. Administration will not work or listen to you even if you have sound reasoning, the complete arrogance of this group will be the down fall of this college. It will not last at this rate and the once strong community of workers is in tatters. Do not by any means work here, and if you are still there please get out, life is much better elsewhere.
