Pros

Good wages and benefits. RRSP's are better than most

Cons

Every district will have its own culture, but the district in Kitchener, ONT, Canada was a downright horrible experience, If you enjoy walking on eggshells each shift and going home ridden with anxiety than perhaps this is the place for you. Management will use and manipulate you and treat like garbage. It is almost amusing to them. Now if you fit in with their little clique you will be treated like gold face to face, but believe me the backstabbing two face acts apply to everyone. Now if you are an unstable person they will love you and treat you like some sideshow for their enjoyment. Never have I been involved with such a toxic and unprofessional work environment You better have thick skin if you want to work here, or you will get eaten alive by both management and employees

Pros

Best starting pay in the industry Great management Good training Excellent company culture Seriously, if you’re trying to get your start in the CDL industry, check out ACE Solid Waste. You couldn’t ask for better if you wanted to. This is your dream job. They have a Mom and Pop culture, but have the resources of a multi billion dollar corporation. You will not find a better company to work for

Cons

Occasional long hours when we have open routes
