Pros
-Fun place to work -nice people to be around -casual dress in most departments on non-event days -dynamic environment; lots of different sponsors means many different events -good learning environment for events
Cons
-low pay; its a non profit -long hours on event day, sometimes up to 22 hours -once we planned everything, The creator of the organization would frequently come and change EVERYTHING last minute... very frusterating -disorganized, too many volunteers and people who don't know the plan. not always an issue but volunteers did not always want to be there -long breaks midday on event day. if you dont live in the city, this usually meant sleeping in a uHaul or killing time around providence.
