A lot of overtime, but company is moving towards a 2-2-3 schedule. Lack of focus on employee growth and development or mentoring. Tuition reimbursement options exist, but nobody talks about it. No concerted effort to push current employees to grow through formal education either at the community college level or university level. Despite have a local community college and two large universities within driving distance of the company.

I really enjoyed working there the first couple of years. It was fun and my co-workers were great. The benifits were pretty good and the time off / PTO time was really good, even for the people starting. Before the merger of resources with Master Lock, the managment actually seemed to listen and want to work with the average worker.

The management went a bit haywire during the merger of resources with Master Lock and it became a different environment. You went to work every day wondering if you would go home with a job. I was an unfortunate casualty in this time period. I don’t know what it is like now.
