Pros

I loved my time at Watson Furniture. The HR team is really and took great care of me. I started pt and temporary and chose to go ft because it was such a great place to work. Input is valued and most leadership are genuine and care about their employees and their products.

Cons

There was nothing notable as a con except it appeared that some of the production employees had a hard time routinely getting to work which then put a burden on their coworkers. Probably kind of a typical situation in that type of work.

Pros

I am only writing this because I googled Watson and was really surprised by the reviews on here. I think it does speak to the fact that most of the negative reviews are from the past as I think they have really been working on being a better place to work. I've been here for a few years now and really love what I am seeing. I think there has been a big push to change the approach to management and while there are still some stuck in the old ways, the majority of leaders have really improved and I genuinely enjoy working with them all.

Cons

I think they need to figure out their logic behind their salaries/ pay increases and how to build development opportunities if the next step up is not one the company has or thinks someone is ready for. I know it is a small company, and I have been told they are working on it. But I think it is one of the gaps that still exists.

Pros

If I could give more than five stars, I would! Simply put, Watson is an outstanding company. It’s run by a team of highly caring, business-savvy, and intelligent leaders who truly value their greatest asset—their people. Though I’m new to Watson, I’m not new to working, and I can confidently say the benefits here are top-notch—competitive compensation, great perks, frequent celebrations, monthly BBQs, free coffee, a well-equipped weight gym, and a beautiful building with excellent accommodations. Plus, the scenic orchard with walking trails is a fantastic bonus! No, the place isn’t perfect. The work is challenging, both in administration and on the production floor. But it’s an honest day’s pay for an honest day’s work. The leadership team consists of good people who are willing to work with you—if you’re willing to put in the effort. My experience here has been both challenging and rewarding so far, and I only see it getting better in the future.

Cons

There are always areas for improvement. Every successful organization looks into itself and ask how can we do things better. Keeping an open mind, and being objective to change is always helpful. Tribal knowledge is great, and adding fresh, new perspective to it only enhances its value.
