Pros
Decent pay for the area. Decent benefits. Yearly company picnic is good for the family. Schedule in maintenance is flexible and can usually use your vacation days as long as there is enough people on the shift that day. There is room for advancement and with a couple of years of employment your usually somewhat high in seniority on the off shift.
Cons
Very dirty/dusty. Tight locations with limited head room in which you have to work sometimes. Gets hot in the summer and will break a sweat in the winter.
